Music is a vital part of worship at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church. The music program at Greenwood Forest encourages our community to listen, sing, and play actively with emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical engagement. During a worship service at Greenwood Forest, you can expect to sing a 500-year-old hymn alongside a freedom song; to hear a Bach organ prelude followed by a bluegrass number; and to clap along with a spiritual after quietly repeating a Taize refrain. Our music models the beauty of God’s diverse creation and the inclusivity we seek to cultivate at Greenwood Forest.
