Acteens
The Acteens are a dedicated group of girls interested in changing lives, locally and internationally.
Typical activities include:
- Visiting church members who are shut-ins.
- Leading Sunday School services twice a year at Chatham Creek Rest Home.
- Promoting 5 Minute Missionary events. These are typically collections of toiletries, over the counter medicines, etc. The items are then distributed to a needy organization.
- Making blankets for the Linus Project
- Entertaining the children when Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network participants are our guests, in order to provide parents a respite.
- Baking brownies to distribute to groups ministering to the NC State Fair workers.
- Hearing from those in our congregation with first-hand missions experiences to share.
- Holding a church-wide yard sale.
- Providing childcare during church special events or as a Foundations for the Future fundraiser.
- Volunteering at the Food Bank.
