Intermediate Youth Handbells - IYHB
6th - 7th graders
Meets Wed 6:00 to 6:45pm
Mission
To have fun while learning a skill which can be used to lead in our congregation's worship of God. If we are doing what we need to be doing, we are prepared, capable of worshiping while leading others in worship in very low stress atmosphere.
Schedule 2007-2008
- 9/5 - first practice
- 10/28 - early service worship leadership
- 10/31 - no practice
- 11/21 - no practice (Thanksgiving break)
- 11/25 - Hanging of Green (practice at 5:10 pm)
- 12/9 - playing INTROIT with AYHB at the late service (practice at 10:30 am in sanctuary)
- 12/12 - last practice of the semester - we were going to meet on 19th, but it would have only been for 15 minutes.
- 12/19 - YOUTH encouraged to help with children's party which starts at 6:15pm
- 12/26, 1/2 - no practice (Christmas break)
- 2/6 - Ash Wednesday (abbreviated or no practice)
- 3/2 - late service worship leadership
- 3/19 - Holy Week - no practice
- 4/2 - Spring Break - no practice
- 4/16 - last IYHB rehearsal before YOUTH SUNDAY
- 4/20 - YOUTH SUNDAY - both services
- 5/11 - late service worship leadership
